Defold on Linux ARM handhelds! Everything works perfectly: from GL ES 3.2 with instancing, to sound playback and gamepad control. Bunnymark test on RK3566 chip shows 52 FPS at 5000 bunnies. This seems to be a pretty decent performance! #ScreenshotSaturday #Defold

Today I created my own component with its own resource! For first time ever. I will store in it extra info (volume, colour etc) about parts of destructible buildings. And I should say a huge thanks👏 to the @defold.com team for a great example of how to create a component ("simple-data" repo).

A little late to #ScreenshotSaturday. New features of the update: targets🎯, instant bullets flight, dynamic spread when firing and the classic badass AKM, but not very accurate!

This dust effect uses a single RGBA texture, with each channel containing grayscale textures. In the green channel, we have a dissolve gradient. With the green channel in the ParticleFX component I control the dissolve effect itself. #defold

Truly last PR for Defold and #Hacktoberfest and I think I managed to do it in the nick of time, because today is October 31 - fixed the syntax highlighting for GLSL files on the website.

I participated in #Hacktoberfest for the whole month of October and I managed to collect all 4 of the 4 approved PRs! All PRs are small examples for the Defold engine: - Unlit material - Screen Space material - Orbit camera script 🎥 - Fireworks effect ✨ - Look rotation function!

Small intro - my main passion is creating web games, I'm doing that for the Poki platform, and if it didn't go there, for other ones. We work in a two-man team (code and game design) and with the help of freelancers. We do it on the great Defold engine. So posts here will be mostly on this topic!
