Today I cancelled Netflix and Amazon Prime. I cancelled Disney+ a month ago. Haven't bought a single thing or digital item from the USA for a month. I don't know if I ever will even if all this bullshit ends. Canadian first, rest of world next, and no American. Elbows UP! Canada is NOT for sale.

My Glaze ll by Libs Elliott is here from Monkland Quilt Studio in Montreal! I got a shopcut 24 piece FQ bundle, 2 extra FQs and an extra yd for binding. I am thinking of making HoldMySeamripper's new pattern Twice Baked! This will be a great Canadian Quilt! Esp if I use Wonderfil thread! #quiltsky

Small quilt top done, again working with fabric from my stash. This baby sized disappearing 4 patch quilt will be donated along with a stuffed animal by our local guild to charities that hand them out to families at Christmas. Every child deserves a gift! I hope to make several this year. #quiltsky

First completed makes of the year. Simple Stars by Atkinson Designs and the pattern and fabrics all came from my stash. Even the Bee fabric worked... It looks better in person. #quiltsky

A good day to stay in and start quilting this year's temperature quilt. It's the 'feels like' at -44c that's the problem. -40f and -40c (used here in Canada) are the same. It looks beautiful out. Sun shining, clear blue sky, but is extremely dangerous. #quiltsky

This is my 2024 temperature quilt. We had an exceptionally mild winter and fall and a hot summer! I used a free pattern from Plains and Pine. I wasn't entirely pleased with the colours I used, so I've modified the colour palette for the one for 2025. #quiltsky
