Which, I also want to point out, isn’t true backwards compatibility, it’s emulation. That’s right, the thing that Nintendo routinely sues to stop? It’s on the Switch 2.

So… are you going to mention any of the other points, or keep harping on the one I didn’t get spot on? Because the others are bigger issues than backward compatibility.

Or the price increases for games while never having a true sale for older games and having to pay to play Switch games you’ve already purchased. So yeah, the console is fine. It’s corporate that screwed it up for me.

It’s less about creativity, more about the suits getting their money

We are more than just decorations to be stashed away until you want to look patriotic. We see you vote against the benefits Vets have earned through blood, sweat, and tears. You do not have any right to post about D-Day. Keep us out of your mouths.

It’s just enough for me to not be interested in the Switch 2. That could change in the future, if Nintendo changes these policies. Until then, I’m happy with my Steam Deck. Steam has proven my games are available for decades, whereas Nintendo routinely shuts down game stores for older consoles

Shut your mouth and take the updoot. You deserve it. I might have not checked out your stream yet but from what I’ve seen here, you’ve earned it

Oh and @menagerie.show because they do great work on socials keeping the word out for all of us

Additionally, @diotior.bsky.social is a master at long term content, driving games, and building games (factory or otherwise).

I’m throwing @triplea.bsky.social to the list. He plays a ton of indie games that fly under the radar, movie reviews, and is a part of and done a ton of work with the Disabled Creators Collective.

One last thing, it’s mentioned early in the movie that there’s a doomsday cult that supports this AI. We see them giving interviews on tv and being a cult. Rest of the movie we see a handful of henchmen and one lead henchmen of this cult. That’s it. Penguin rating: 2.5 🐟 out of 5

Just mind boggling decisions, in universe rules that aren’t consistent, and a script that is best summed up by ā€œwe can’t have action scenes back to back so just have them talk about the action scenes and their dumb decisionsā€

Also, the entire final set piece is great fun but I’m still trying to figure out why Tom Cruise was spinning on the edge of the wing of an aircraft for 5 minutes instead of just grabbing the stick in the front seat.

Also, if it spreads so fast and you see it trying to take over your nukes through an imagined internet connection, why did you continue to be connected TO the internet? The movies answer is ā€œbecause no one wanted to blink first,ā€ which is so painful.

Spoilers thread: This movie sets itself in real life but doesn’t follow real life rules. The AI’s goal is to take over and launch all the nukes in the world through the internet. Irl nukes are not connected to the internet.

From this point forward, every action of the support cast is just baffling. Additionally, the story beats between action set pieces make zero sense. The action set pieces are amazing though. Penguin rating: 2.5 🐟 out of 5

Spoiler free: This is a continuation of the story from the last Mission Impossible. The AI has embedded itself into ā€œall of cyberspaceā€, to quote the movie, and our hero and his team must save the day.

I’ve never understood why the debate between disabilities or situations exists. They all suck, except the top 1%. So we should be raging against them, not each other.

Wait we were supposed to STOP building guillotines?

If I’m an Atlanta fan, I’d be pissed, because the only way your team won a game was to have the most biased ref on the planet. You didn’t win that Atlanta. You were given it. Enjoy I guess
