Been on Bluesky for five minutes and just followed by someone who has stolen another guy’s profile. Chrome image search is a gem.

Fun guiding in Newcastle on Sunday. Sunny but freezing. #Bluebadgetouristguide #Newcastle

Delightful morning presenting my talk on Rachel Parsons in Gosforth, Newcastle. Daughter of the great engineer Charles Parsons. A talented engineer herself she trained a female workforce during WWI to replace men fighting at the front. Sadly brutally murdered in 1956 #Bluebadgetouristguide

Starts next Friday at 9 on Walter Presents.

The end of tv series #Vera. Looking forward to showing her fans the filming locations this summer in beautiful North East England. northeasttourguide.co.uk

Happy New Year from the Greenwich Meridian

A privilege to guide the Old Assembly rooms today in Newcastle as part of NE1’s 24 doors of Christmas events. A building with astonishing history. Grand diners and balls for Queens, Kings the Duke of Wellington and even Charles Dickens. I performed a Victorian musical on the stage in 2017

At this busy time give yourself a treat and escape to Bamburgh Castle in Northumberland. They have dressed the state rooms with the exhibition ‘A Christmas through time’. It’s stunning. Really enjoyed my visit this morning. #bluebadgetouristguide

Writing a talk about this gentleman. Joseph Swan. Do you know that he invented fairy lights that were adapted to place on Christmas trees? First used in the operetta Iolanthe to decorate fairy costumes so as the fairies danced their costumes sparkled. #Bluebadgetouristguide

Currently writing a talk about this gentleman. Do you know who he is and what he invented?
