I think this news can be eased with an Ange statement along the lines of 'it will actually help him regain match fitness' etc, but I do also feel it might require Cuti to come out and say something similar plus a 'I can't wait to put the Spurs shirt back on' kind of thing

Haven't found a way to watch the game so I'm afraid all evidence against my claim that Son and Johnson cannot play at the same time is invalid for now

9 months until every penny I have disappears. Destitution awaits but I will have lots of pretty cards from one of my favourite TV shows

No guarantee Bayern make it, but the thought of Kane getting to another Champions League final and losing to Liverpool again or Arsenal is a rather sad prospect

This and the Eragon series on Disney+ are real 'I wish I had started working on my ability to write much earlier' moments. Dream projects I wish I were qualified to be involved in making

Nearly a year to the day since my last TV contract, I have secured a month's work! Still have doubts about TV job security and want to pursue writing & independent directing regardless However, even a few weeks of properly paid work is such a relief and I hope some more opportunities will follow

Looking forward to the Extra Inch Live Show later. Come say hi if anyone from here is going, but please, don't talk to me about Tottenham

When you see a conservative influencer calling the Kendrick performance a DEI thing it’s worth keeping in mind just how many conservative influencers are failed screenwriters/stand ups/filmmakers who only understand any form of art through a lens of spite

I really want Ange to be a success but I feel so much of what Spurs do is inefficient. Bad structure. Often predictable in possession. So many turnovers. It could work if they had huge depth to account for it, but they don't & I now seriously doubt whether they will ever get it to work consistently

Will bet money that at some point The Athletic will do a piece with inside sources saying Postecoglou's tenure fell apart when Tottenham lost Chris Davies

The benefit of Bissouma being on (in theory) is that Bentancur can concentrate on being front footed

Some nice punditry going on here. Liked the analysis of the emotions and leadership roles. It's critical but soft in tone and I think that is really how all punditry should be

Love that Donley and Keeley are having so many moments of success this year. There will be calls to reintegrate them into the Spurs team, but I think that another loan at a higher level (Championship or European non-top 5 league) would be great and perhaps better for their long-term development

If we are demanding Levy to spend money, we should probably suggest they just forfeit a PL game or two and pay the fines/lose the match day revenue . Give the players 4 weeks off see if that does anything

Appreciate they are attempting to 'go for it' but Bentancur, Bergvall Kulusevski midfield is a complete mess in a positional sense

Every time Richy comes back I think 'he is perfect for what we need, if he can stay fit we don't need to replace him'. Fools me a thousand times. Has to be the last time man

Call me soft but I don't think an elbow in the neck is a fair challenge

Tel dry loan is more of a warm body signing than anything else, but should provide some desperately needed relief for the attackers

I have been pretty resistant to this line of thinking, but if Spurs put in a bid for Guehi, then I think there must be some kind of understanding that Romero goes in the summer I can't see Spurs having VdV, Romero, Danso & Guehi If you are going to replace Romero though, you need to drop BIG money

Just went back a year and a half in a group chat to find the message I sent about thinking Spurs should have a look at Danso. Groupchat vindication is the purest vindication

I was hacked. I never said this. Break the bank for a 1v1 RW and leave me alone

Without wanting to sound sensationalist, England are going to walk the 2030 World Cup with Moore and Nwaneri

So so happy for the young players. Incredible night. However, before we make too many sweeping suggestions that these players should have been playing sooner, respectfully, Elfsborg are not very good.

There's a Dano-Swedish war joke here somewhere

Elfsborg suddenly pressing high. I do wonder what could have prompted such a noticeable tactical adjustment

Elfsborg caveats but man I love this. Movement from an experienced attacking midfielder and this game would likely be done already

OpenAI right now

NEW: Trump just rescinded the federal freeze order. This is a reminder that resistance matters. The going got tough and Trump just folded like a cheap suit.

I think Postecoglou's quote about Yang is indicative of his whole view on youth players. It's not that he does not trust any of them individually, I feel. Just that with Gray and Bergvall (sometimes Moore) already out, the side can't afford to have even more teenagers in it at any one time

I feel there is very little reason for Mathys Tel to join Tottenham over Arsenal, but I am still going to get overly invested and take the inevitable kick in the teeth

extremely funny seeing ai dipshits accuse deepseek of copyright infringement for "ripping off" chatgpt or whatever. not so fun when it's your shit getting took, huh? lol. rot in the grave you've dug and know no one will mourn you. lmao

you (dumb, kneejerk): do Spurs need to sack Ange? me (wise, considered): sack both Munn and Lange

I thought A Real Pain was superb. I often don't find the time to go to the cinema, but so glad I went to see this
