While I was in Seattle, I went to the same blown glass stand in Pike Place Market every day. I loved all the pieces, and the guy running it (Marco) encouraged me to lift them up & look at them in the light. We spoke about music, as he is a DJ. He said he'd give me a job as I clearly love glass.

Safely back in the UK after attending INSAR in Seattle. I was considering whether it was safe to travel for this conference, I made the final decision that I would rather attend and be part of the Autistic researchers representing autistic priorities than not. It was a good trip overall.

My #INSAR2025 talk - expertly tweeted by @thinkingautism.com & @aimeespeaks.bsky.social - is now available to watch: www.youtube.com/watch?v=9n4c... Focus: How I share power with lay Autistic people - including those with learning disabilities and who are non-speaking - and what they think of it /1

Important thread to follow at #INSAR2025

Some slight mis-typings in my posts for the last panel, my brain is definitely on day 4 of #INSAR2025 & not keeping up with my type-then-posting. For any questions and clarifications on talks, many of the amazing panelists are on here and would likely be able to clarify/answer questions/ share more
