I must be the worst Marvel Rivals player in the world because I for one HATE to see a Mr Fantastic coming 💀

EXACTLY. It's so tone-deaf to see people losing their jobs and do a self-deprecating 'oh woe is me, I feel so guilty for having never lost a job ever'. Like, who cares? Help others. Do something. Do anything but self-congratulate yourself for this 'achievement'.

I also refuse to believe you didn't hit at least a couple of bumps in those 10 years. But then again, maybe that's just me being naive.

Will be browsing BSKY like this just to avoid spoilers until I have a physical copy in my hand 💀

i've actually never played it! i'm watching her play (i did inform her she could have just watched it all online, but she wanted to play it herself and learn) and we've just passed the Amsterdam mission before she stopped for the night. but good to know that i can witness this gay ass banter soon 👀

There's apparently over 13k fic dedicated to one gay ship in there. Nothing surprises me anymore!

Sounds exactly like my Mom. Now she gets excited whenever people ask what I do for a living and she can be like "writes about video games!"

this ain't her first rodeo, she's been a spock/kirk shipper for all her life!

to paraphrase me: why COD? her: i don't know, it just seems interesting. me, knowing more about COD yaoi than i care to know: isn't one guy named after mouthwash her: he's called soap actually me: oh. and isn't one named after a ghostbuster? her: just ghost. me, knowingly: oh

But DA isn't dead. There's fic. There's art. There's the connections we made through the games and because of the games. Technically EA/BioWare owns the IP but you can't own an idea, no matter how much they want to. DA isn't dead because it's yours now.

I'm so sorry Trick, for both you and Karin. Thank you for making BioWare games a safe place for me to have fun and explore in ways I never thought possible. Best of luck for the future, you and everyone else deserves better.

People acting like you can't be sad of a series being put on ice because it's my job to be critical are fucking miserable btw.

Have had a rough few years, and Dragon Age has always been a solace for me. I don't want it to become this bittersweet thing, especially with how many friends I've made through it. I'm just so sad, man.

Thank you friend 💙 I get what you mean. Had a bad spell late December and it wouldn't have done anyone any good for me to join my mum in there, so kept it to myself. It's just a lot to deal with it. Funnelling all the time I have into being creative as much as I can right now.

It is! It's hard to give a fuck about games right now tbh

Yesterday, I visited my mom and had to squeeze my way down a corridor that had 8 beds in it because there was simply no more room in the wards. I talked to a nurse who has been working 60hrs a week and looks exhausted. Something needs to change.

Trying to bait the fandom girlies into checking out our game, pspspspsps✨✨ bit.ly/WishlistSpiritSwap
comment in response to post
Oh like a spec film that they changed into Until Dawn? I can believe it, especially with the time loop angle because that had nothing to do with the game at allllll.
comment in response to post
That would absolutely get a big ol belly laugh from me.

I'm not trying to be a snob, I think this is going to be interesting but it feels as though Sony is setting itself and fans of the game up for disappointment here. Genuinely don't understand what the plan was in slapping the title on here outside of hoping it'll bring in money.

On the eShop? No, there isn't—sorry, I muddled my words up there. That being said, I can actively search for LGBTQ+ games on the eShop, and while it isn't perfect, it does give a pretty decent selection last I checked.
comment in response to post
The reason why I think it might not be intentional is that there's no official LGBTQ category on eShop either. That said if you put the term in you at least get something. In this one you don't. But I'm not going to pretend that I know how the search system works for eShop so I could just be naive!
comment in response to post
I think this comes with genuinely good intentions, but imo erasing LGBTQ+ or even Romance as a searchable category isn't the play here. That's not even touching the whole 'shovelware' being too broad of a category, with visual novels being chucked into the same list as AI games.
comment in response to post
one of the filters is just getting rid of romance? as if romance games aren't incredibly popular? wild

she does not! the only thing she's big on is tumblr and facebook and i think this is a huge factor on why she doesn't know who anyone is lmao

she's shouting at me that she knows who David Lynch is now but it's too late tbh. this is a core memory for me now
