There have been bluebirds and robins hanging out in the cedar in front of my cabin. The robins are more camouflaged, but you can see one.

The pyro in me is having fun. I have burned up two 6'Hx10'L piles of cedar greenery and another that size of just pinion twigs and sticks. It snowed off and on, but the fire was so hot that I stayed dry. I even had to shed my coat, hat, scarf, and gloves.

I finally got some snow! First, there was rain, snow, and frozen mix. Last night, it changed over to snow. Two inches accumulated overnight, and there is still some light snow this morning. It was so nice hearing water pour into my tank yesterday. I have water again! No more extreme fire risk!

The snowfall rate is 1 flake per minute. I am grumpy and tired of being under a fire risk when I am usually snowed in. Therefore, I am putting myself in a timeout. It may last for a while. At least there is this (tends to be more accurate than any other forecasting):
