@danielstorey85.bsky.social hope you enjoyed the game last night. Thought we looked very leggy from about 65 onwards and whereas our subs lacked sharpness Brighton’s changed the game. They ran out of pies - as they always do - and it remains absolutely the worst PL ground to get to or from as well!

Wrote a bit about the three away matches I went to last week for @football365.bsky.social www.football365.com/news/opinion...

First time Northam and Nichols Town has ever been described as “the way to Barcelona” 😂 #afcb

Hey @sickoscommittee.org this is roughly the equivalent of ISU going into Kinnick on the first day of the season and winning in OT on a safety. SURELY sicko worthy www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-... They are only 8 miles apart.

1-0 (AET) is an absolutely outstanding rugby league score

The view is better at St Mirren. The football isn’t.

One last visit to the old place #afcb

Wonder if I am the only person in the world who will be at Goodison tomorrow and St Mirren on Monday #afcb #smfc

My first ever direct hit runout was on this ground 😍

Szoboslai was excellent. Never more than a yard or two from Adams and never let him have any sort of influence on the game. Thought we were ok but they’re better. Can cope with that #afcb

@tomwfootball.bsky.social @julienlaurens.bsky.social hello totally French experts. We are in Paris in April and have tickets for PSG —Angers. I just wondered please how far ahead of the date the kickoff time will be confirmed please? Thanks! (Missing Bournemouth away at West Ham for this!)

Last week was great. This week was champagne football and champagne skies #afcb

My favourite away trip bar none. Thanks everyone but especially #afcb

I really, really, really like this team #afcb

My favourite #afcb away day of the year as I get to see my mates and I like the city. Oliver’s cos we get to go to Heathrow….

Features a bit on #afcb away days from me too

@tomfornelli.bsky.social in the away stand at Craven Cottage for Fulham vs Bournemouth there was a guy in Illinois ear-warmers. You’d have been thrilled.

Think the fam may have identified my political leanings…

@danielstorey85.bsky.social thank you for the bit on Cook & Christie in today’s Totally. Intriguingly Cook has played quite a lot of RB since Tyler Adams got fit. Adam Smith is perhaps another full-back with declining legs but his cover there has been really solid.

Delighted to feature!

Fantasy NFL - 140 in the redraft semi but ran into Hubbard and Jefferson who my QB inexplicably kept throwing the ball to 😂 don’t mind losing to 166

That third goal absolutely sums up #afcb this season. Wonderful stuff But my word I’m cold

and so it begins. Manchester, double London, Birmingham, Newcastle and Glasgow between now and 20th January. And that’s missing Chelsea away 😕

Six trains - plus maybe tube - to get today and the first one is cancelled due to shortage of drivers. This despite the train clearly being here at Bournemouth having been driven from the depot 🤷🏼‍♂️

Maybe I’m a sicko I but I think that’s the best game I’ve seen at DC this year. Their setup was awkward for us and tbf to them they never really stopped trying to win. I do like Bowen but we dealt with him ok after the first half hour. #afcb

Absolute masterclass in staying out the way from Dom in most of those Spurs goals 😆

Results go the right way I reckon by the end of Monday we could be above Ake, Ramsdale, Wilson, Lerma, Dom and some small Scottish chap in the league table…..#afcb

The ‘big shop’ is essentially 96% looking for your spouse and the other 4% wondering why some people need a trolley of only loaves and strongbow.

Last trip of the year complete. Just the 37 flights this year, well down from the 2016 high of 91!

Leverkusen with a goal from a corner just how they drew it up there. Get on it #afcb

The way he sucked no fewer than five Spurs defenders in for the Fernandez goal was sensational.

Billing gets a lot of stick from #afcb fans for perceived lack of effort. But his two passes and movement for the winning goal yesterday were not indicative of a player who wants out. Credit where it’s due.
