It's a horrendous flu season. It's killing kids, it's killing adults. It's killing people who were perfectly healthy before and people who, like most Americans, have chronic illness. It costs NOTHING to keep existing resources available. Our government is spending money to make Americans sicker.

I actually think I’ve been very polite in these discussions, but I don’t think it’s productive to say “no, you see, when I say ‘AI’ I mean only the bad parts. Any positive use if AI is unrelated.”

Caught myslf thinking "Hm, I'm enjoying getting a chance to mix it up about LLMs on BlueSky but the format is somewhat annoying given the character limit. Maybe I should write a long-form piece somewhere..." before I remembered resistng the masculine urge to start a blog is a lifelong struggle.
