I think people are missing the reality of the growing US-Russian alliance under Putin and Trump. Its not going to force a ceasefire on Ukraine, it will be to help Russia try to win the war. The US is now an active enemy of freedom.

Listening to James O’Brien talk to Laurence Rees (writer of The Nazi Mind: 12 Warnings From History) is terrifying. The parallels between now and then are stark. Dehumanisation of targeted groups, using conspiracy theories to propel propaganda. Playing on innate fears. It’s happening again.

I’ve been on my feet in the crown court for 10 years now and I am still meeting a tidal wave of young people caught selling coke not realising the starting point is *four and a half years* for a first timer, not a community bloody order.

👇 Agree with Dylan (follow him for great polling analysis). Labour need a new approach to their media management of the BBC. In all the time I’ve covered politics, the only language that has caused BBC to change the tenor of its politics coverage has been aggressive “your bias is showing” stuff.
