Y'all. Last night, following weeks of nightmare dreams about a variety of subjects, last night I legit had a great dream in which I met and got to hang out with Ian Hunter & Mott The Hoople! And then I woke up with "Hymn For The Dudes" stuck in my head.

Panda Express walked back their employee mask ban in response to public outcry. Starbucks is also attempting to prohibit their employees from masking unless they have a doctors note. Get loud. Call, email & boycott. These ableist decisions are reversible, we just need to keep up the fight!

There was a little hole in the wall restaurant in NOLA in the 80s that has this amazing french/cajun fusion. I never found it again in subsequent trips. The creamy spicy sauces haunt me. More recently, the vegan steakhouse burger from Veggie Grill. Best burger ever!

Feeling better, had a couple of productive days. Yesterday we did errands & groceries (but broke now) & did a bit more weed-whacking. Today ran downstairs kitties' bedding laundry, changed out their litter, & Io & I hung curtains to replace the icky blinds. Also cleaned the windows.

It occurs to me that everyone might consider having a "safeword" that they share amongst friends & family members so they can't be fooled/scammed by AI mimicking the loved one's voices for nefarious purposes. I mention this b/c there is apparently another round of that particular fraud activity now.

Question for CostCo members: What's their selection of vegetarian/vegan premade food like? Do they carry Gardein or Purple Carrot, as for instances? Meat-free regular frozen foods or pizzas that aren't just cheese? Salads that don't include chopped chicken? Want to join but want it to be worthwhile.
