Bishop Mariann Budde wrote a book entitled “How We Learn To Be Brave”, published in May 2023. I went to buy it today and it is sold out in local bookstores! I will not purchase it from Amazon so I’ll put myself on a wait list and get it when it’s back in stock, but WOW, do I love this for her!

Their faith lets them worship power while they’re offended by mercy. It’s not Christianity they’re practicing.

Public Libraries can be wonderful places where children and adults can find books that they can see themselves reflected in, no matter who they are, and books that can introduce them to entire other lived experiences. Both are so valuable!
