Elon Musk's government firings is a distraction. The real quid pro quo between Musk and Trump are the 11 + actions Musk has taken for the benefit of his own companies. Trump is transactional, as seen by the deal he's trying to pull with Ukraine.

Check the military bases. I've heard Military members of color are being demoted and relocated to sub livable quarters. Altus Air Force Base in Oklahoma. I hope I'm wrong.
