So it doesn't look like I'll be streaming anytime soon. Kinda sucks, but hopefully I'll be able to change that soon.

I've finally reached the home stretch for the system in this game, but I just finished one of my tasks and I have an appointment in 15 minutes, so now I'm in Waiting Mode. Really hoping things go smoothly so that I can get back to work. #SoloGameJam

Scope creep is a helluva drug. I'm sitting here trying to warm up while I figure out how to tackle a bit of code, and suddenly I'm thinking of how I would have to completely change a totally different system in order to add a new feature to the game. Ha! Not today, tricksy Fae! #SoloGameJam

I'm going to extend my #SoloGameJam because I can and I want to. I only have a few more things to code, then it's UI work and content creation. And I really want to playtest this game at least once. If all goes well, I may even stream while I work on it tomorrow night. Fingies crossed! #GameDev

I'm almost done with the core of this game. I ended up skipping the content creation portion in hopes of getting all of the systems in place. But I still need to make things move and actually put in most of the actual UI. And I only have seven hours left... #SoloGameJam

A question for my fellow #Godot users: If I create an instance of a class and populate its values, but then change the instance to a class that inherits from that original class, would that clear all of the values? #GameDev

Using Notion in Offline Mode is... really fucking frustrating. On a completely unrelated note, I don't think I'm going to come up with 160 different abilities and boons today. So I may have to rethink some things. #SoloGameJam

I've decided to take the weekend to relax and let my subconscious figure out what to do about Taroche. Meanwhile, I shall be coming up with random systems and solutions and writing a bunch of code. Because weirdly enough, it relaxes me. #GameDev #IndieDev #SoloDev

I've decided that the next game I make will be all systems and UI. It'll be interesting to see what that ended up looking like.

I'm just going to accept the fact that my board tokens are too small for the character portraits to look good on them. So I'm going with shapes instead. I really hope this works, because I am at my wit's end. #GameDev

I finally figured out how to do the thing that I wanted to do with my board tokens. Unfortunately, they wouldn't be readable on the actual board. But it still looks cool. Might use it for the main menu. #GameDev #Blender #SoloDev

Tried out the idea I had for my board tokens. While I did figure out how to scale and transform a texture in the Shader Editor, I also discovered that my idea was shit. Back to the drawing board.

I have to redesign and redraw all of my characters, and refactor all of my character animations. But then I just learned the there will be typed dictionaries in GDScript in Godot 4.4. I can go to sleep happy. #GameDev

Oh, boy! I know how I'll be procrastinating from now on. I shall document everything! But seriously, I do want to get into the habit of actually documenting my code instead of just using comments to talk to myself.
