I volunteer at a tax aide site. I assisted an elderly native man with a question about an ID theft pin. No way could he navigate the IRS site so we called the help line. We got quick accurate and professional assistance. Under DOGE how long will that last? Good luck to that employee and thanks.

I wish I could give Nick Begich’s ph # (I work summer tourism in AK) to everyone who spent thousands to visit AK so that he can explain the best way to see Denali(and it is Denali) is from the downtown parking garage because he had nothing to do with NPS budget cuts and the park is closed

Rep Begich(R-AK) is taking a victory lap for getting two bills passed in the House as a newly minted member. Of course these are repackaged from AK former Rep Mary Peltola. Seems Mr Begich has already learned how to take credit for what a woman has done the work for.

Not being familiar with federal hiring practices does Trump have authority to offer this RIF and the costs associated with it? If he doesn’t and the employees take the “buy out” and it’s not funded are they screwed? Wouldn’t happen under normal circumstances but Abby Normal is far from that.

I was listening to an NPR broadcast the other day. The lady was out of work and burning through her 401K. Scared, she put aside her personal views because she thought that trump would have to much on his plate to have time to deal with social issues. Well today Speaker “Petty” did bathroom gate.
