April tbr. A lil late #booksky #fantasybooksky #scifi

The pressure of choosing the perfect book for my next read... sigh #booksky

On to the next one #scifibooks #booksky

This was for the Shakespeare fans which is not me🤣. I can't rate this as I think a lot of the references went over my head. From what I did get, it seems like a great character driven story. #booksky

Idk if it's just me but I feel like I'm seeing a bit of anime influence in romantasy fight scenes. I'm not complaining just a thought #booksky

Here is a little wrap-up of everything I read this year so far. I ended up really enjoying the Emily Wilde Series. Legendborn was a standout, but I have mixed feelings about the second book. I'm definitely gonna read A Master of Djinn soon #fantasybooksky #booksky

Finally, I'm reading this for bookclub. Kinda excited #booksky

don't forget it is still women's history month. here are some fantastic horror books written by women. #booksky #horrorbooksky

I can't stand Sel

I pray that the duology stay a duology and trilogy stay a trilogy 🙏🏽 Amen #booksky

I just finished the Emily Wilde Series. In general, I really enjoyed it. There is the dry humor and overall lightness that makes it easy for me to read. But, honestly, Wendell going up there with Howl in terms of men that are interesting to hear about but would never date. #booksky #fantasybooksky

I've never paid too too much attention to tropes cause I thought what really matters is how well it's done. But I think I hate the "back from the death" thing. It don't sit right with me. #booksky

I just finished That Time in Bogles. It's a novella by a Grenadian author that follows a boy traveling to the island of Carriacou to spend his Easter break. Though it is not my usual genre, I enjoyed it and gained some insight into the culture of our sister island. #booksky #caribbean

And another new book. Should I read this one next? #booksky #scifi

This one was near perfection❤️‍🔥 It's exciting and adventurous but still light and fun. I love the balance. Plot: ❤️ Characters: love is not exactly the right word, but they sure as hell were interesting World-building: ❤️ #fantasy #fantasybooksky #booksky

Travel to the afterlife with Joyce as she is recruited by a hot Grim Reaper to reluctantly serve as his lawyer. If you want a fun, light read, here it is. Characters: 🤣🔥 Plot: soso but not what I came for World-building: 👍🏾 Spice: sometimes a bit much for me #booksky #blackbooksky

Rewatching Howl's Moving Castle as an adult, I realise I'm good. I don't want a Howl cause Sophie got her work cut for her with that one.

If I'm being honest, I think my favorite subgenre is probably fun paranormal romance. I love those super complex plots and world-building and all that. But at the end of the day, I realise I enjoy reading those paranormal romances the most #booksky

Look what just came in 🤩 #leagueoflegens #ambessa #booksky #fantasybooksky
