This may have been posted before but in case you haven't seen it ...

I've just signed "Marks & Spencer - stop advertising on GB News" - Will you support the campaign too? actionstorm.org/petitions/ma... @StopFundingHate

Just been to see Punk Off, aka Pretty Vacant at the Blackpool Winter Gardens. Bloody awesome, we sang punk and we danced to the songs of our youth. The performers were excellent and I recommend you go see it. www.wintergardensblackpool.co.uk/events/prett...

Apparently there is a "time and a place" to do the Time Warp, and this funeral is neither. I think my wife may be having the talk with me again, so I'm sat in the corner, sulking

Spent the day visiting my son who is getting a lot better after a really bad illness. It doesn't matter how old they are, you still worry about your kids being ill. However we are now in the phase where we compare how many tablets and potions we take. How did we get there?

So the weather here in the North West was nice this weekend so yesterday we went walking in Delamere Forest and today we took the opportunity to walk round the the Mere in Ellesmere. No pictures from Delamere but two from Ellesmere

Really love this cartoon from the great Michael De Adder. The outpouring of support coming in has been truly amazing! Thanks everybody!

Currently at the Marks and Spencer Arena in Liverpool and really enjoying the Monster Trucks live. Good fun

Today was a busy day at work, so busy I couldn't find the time to harvest my mushroom. No mistake there, that is singular but I am determined to make it plural. and now its bed time, and if tomorrow (today actually) is as busy, there will be trouble!!

So I took some advice and the Good Lady and I joined the Library. My idea was join the library, get the numbers up, use it now and again. Reality. I have 3 @aptshadow.bsky.social books to read before 9th Feb and they have a whole stand of Dark Knight Graphic Novels!!! Well THAT didn't go to plan 😕

So I asked Copilot a question today and the reply was chatty. So I chatted back and got into a conversation with Copilot. It was interesting. I know it is an LLM but it felt like it was trying to engage and be useful. It is the first time I realised where this is all going and it is exciting.

For Xmas my wife bought me a mushroom growing kit in a box. And today we had the first mushroom. I am very happy with it as I have never grown them before.

Tuesday nearly done. Car is in for some body work as someone thoughtless backed into it in car park and then forgot to leave any contact information. I think they did but it blew away in the wind. On the upside, I walked the 2 miles home from the garage, and it was a pleasant walk in the sun

Mondays aren't my friend. Although family wise things are looking up, and the ice is thawing outside so, maybe I was a bit harsh on Mondays Also the mushroom growing kit the Good Lady got me for Xmas is starting to bear 'fruit'

Sunday afternoon walk

It has been a funny old day. A day when I have been 10 minutes behind were I should have been all day. I didn't get up late and I havent been slacking, just never quite got to grips with the day. On the upside, we did win £2.20 betting on the horses, not sure it's retirement money but I am happy

A few years ago a friend of mine sent my wife a small lego kit as a thank you. Since then it has multiplied into lego Street scenes, Harry Potter Lego and it was ok Now she has branched out into vehicles and I'm finally becoming interested. This one has a pull back friction motor and it is awesome!

Today was a good day. Things are looking up and family are getting better. Nearly the weekend, time to celebrate

Day 3 of this working week and things are looking bad. This used to be hump day with a slow slide to the weekend but now it feels like up an hill struggle to Friday night. So, I'm going to turn that frown upside down and stand on my head. I recommend it to you all as the rush of blood is awesome.

We finally got all the Xmas decorations put away and the house is now back to normal. It takes us a few days of work to put them out, but it is worth it for how happy it makes the Good Lady. When it comes to putting them away she is happy as well as she gets bored of them.

So, now I know what Garfield means about Mondays.

So first book of the year finished. And if I was as clever as the rest of you I would link to the author Gareth L. Powell. Really enjoyed Stars and Bones and although it's my first of his books I have read, it won't be the last.

Today is the day we start taking down the Christmas decorations. I say start as we are both sat on the sofa , me doom scrolling Bluesky and her, Facebook. At this rate it will take a week before we are done. Or we could just leave it all up for another 330 days.....
