#astro found this data in a folder from 2023 unprocessed. Nice wee surprise for me 🥰 The crescent nebula in SHO. Skywatcher 72ed with ZWO 533 mono.

#astro #astrophotography This weekend was The Guild of Photographers Awards ceremony. I was invited to do an Astro workshop and presentation talk which went amazing. Not only did I make the Photographers Bar, but I also won a place in the International Top Ten photographers of 2024 😍😮

Wow 🤩

Beautifully done 😊

Awesome 🤩

@dylanodonnell.bsky.social didn’t realise u we’re on here too 😊

#astro #nebula Finally finished my Elephant Trunk Nebula 😊

#astro #deepspace I’ve been working on my Elephant Trunk Nebula. It’s been clouds for 10 days now and continuing for the foreseeable 😞

More data recycling. I shot the Lobster Claw (SH2-157) back in Sept 2023 but my original image didn't really have the Hubble-like colors I wanted. This one is much closer. #astrophotography

Evening astro! Tonight's image is of m81/82. This 24 hours of photons was gathered by my sensor over 5 sessions early in 2024 from my backyard. #astrophotography #astronomy #sonyalpha #askar

Here’s my reprocessed #IC443 #JellyfishNebula using PixInsight! Compared to my original Affinity Photo version, the PixInsight workflow brought out finer details in the filaments, improved contrast, and revealed more depth in the SHO palette. Same data, new perspective! #Astrophotography

#astro @astroroyalscot.bsky.social What an amazing achievement for Women in #STEM I am honoured to have been asked and participate in the journey and making of this book. thanks and congrats goes out to the whole team, but especially to the brainchild behind it all Claire Bradshaw, amazing work

New version of my Bubble Nebula image from Oct 2023. One of my favorite targets. Shot in SHO. When I can't shoot new targets, I play with data from older targets. #astrophotography

An all-time favorite target: the Veil Nebula supernova remnant. This is the West Veil, aka the Witch's Broom. Hydrogen (R)/oxygen (G) bicolor, 180x3' each. I'm proud of bringing out the nebula while keeping bright 52 Cyg under control! From my back yard, June 2020. #redwolfastro #astrophotography

#astro #witchhead This has been a labour of love and frustration. Every time I’ve tried for the Witchhead, something has always gone wrong or weather has been bad. Not this time 🥰

#astro #northernlights We were graced by a visit from lady Aurora on New Years night at at Isle of Whithorn, Scotland

#astro wishing you all a very happy Christmas 🎄🎅🥰

#astro Just received email today 🤩

#astro Last night I was blessed with a clear sky and managed to capture 8 hrs on the Lobster Claw. ASI2600MM, SHO filters, Skywatcher 72ed, AM5 Mount.

@astrobackyard.bsky.social nice to see you here Trevor ☺️

#astro Three years ago the Observatory was burned to the ground. This has such an impact on UK astronomers who were avid visitors to the Observatory and its bortle 2 skies location. Now, we have just had confirmation that a new build is going ahead and I for one can’t wait 🤩😍

#astro 🔭 Second image from two clear nights here in Loch Lomond Scotland. Now back to rain and sleet 😞 RedCat51, ZWO 2600MM pro, Optolong SHO filters. ZWO AM5 mount. #astro #deepspace nebula

#astro 🔭 Finally we got some clear sky. It seems like forever since that last happened here in the UK. I managed to capture 8hrs on the Sadr region. The Butterfly and Crescent Nebula in SHO. This widefield image was taken with the RedCat51 and ZWO ASI 2600MM pro. AM5 mount, Optolong 2” filters.
