Republicans are gutting services, firing necessary workers, and stealing allocated funds to give tax cuts to billionaires. Not to bring down the deficit. Tax cuts that benefit the wealthy must be viewed as theft. It's really that simple.

I'm surprised how easy it's been to stop buying from Amazon. I highly recommend giving it a try. How long can you go? Week? Two? Month? Quarter year? Half year? Year? Post results to your timeline at various milestones.

Initially seeing a Cyber Truck was like being rickrolled. Just so funny! Now when I see a Tesla EV (of any kind) my mind thinks "NAZI CAR! That driver might be a proto-facist!" Wonder if this advertising campaign will work better for the rocket company? "Elon: just like Wernher von Braun!"

Damn you AI! Dealership underinflated my tires by 7 psi. I ask why. They send a Google AI answer listing low psi number. I reply with a photo of the tire pressure listed on the door jam. Don't depend on AI. AI is stupid... unless it's trying to kill us...

One favorite part of the holidays was watching birds, including sitting in a fast food parking lot watching some ugly Muscovy ducks dumpster dive. If you ever have lights dim when starting an appliance have the electric company check the line to the house. Took two calls, but got them out. Watched him make it spark by feeding current. He taught me to listen for the crackling sounds. Sensory details at work.

When I read fiction I think about the writer. Who they are. How experience allowed them to describe things so vividly and artfully. AI can't provide this connection. It fakes everything. Experiences nothing. It needs to be wrapped in a body of flesh with a lifetime of experience.
