Got our ice cream maker out and thinking of making maple bacon ice cream. But should I add dark chocolate?

🌈 Happy Pride Month! I’m a proud LGBTQ+ artist working in raku and traditional pottery — and I’d be so honored if you share my work. This Pride, I’m reflecting on something personal: I never thought I’d make it to this age. But I did. And I’m still here. Creating. Grateful. Alive 💖 #pride #pottery

Hello from Aurora Bear! ✨ Beneath the sky’s celestial flare, A bear is born from fire and air. Reds and greens in frozen flight, A whisper of the Northern Lights #art #ceramics #gaybear #furryart #sciart

I've been struggling with my CPTSD lately. Last night I had a flashback of my conversion therapy and all those horrible feelings came flooding back. No one should have to go through this struggle. LGBTQIA people are worthy of love. Just the way we are. We are not broken. Society is.

Inspired by my spring gardening, Earth mugs are here! These are the first in a four part elemental series of mugs (earth, air, water, fire). I'm really pleased with all of the small golden crystals throughout the glaze. How do you like them?

So glad this piece survived yesterday's raku firing! 🔥 I have decided to call the piece "Penumbra." How do you like it? #sciart #space #art ( Included is a process picture from the firing. )

"Mystic Mountain" is a gas pillar in the Carina Nebula, where stardust curls into being. This vessel holds that moment, when chaos births light, and silence learns to shine. A vase shaped by fire, echoing the nebula’s breath, this is "Mystic Mountain." #space #pottery #sciart

I always struggle to find a balance between valuing my work and keeping it accessible to people. That is why from time to time I offer some of my successful smaller test vases for purchase. I really believe art is for everyone. #art #pottery

Harriet Tubman #quilt by my Mom, Vera P. Hall, who makes quilts celebrating Black people who fought for their own freedom. This seems to be the crowd favorite of the “We Didn’t Wait for Freedom” series. Happy #Juneteenth #quilting

Yesterday, I was in for a beautiful surprise after studio time. My partner took some flower vase photos. This was his first time arranging flowers. I think he came up with some beautiful arrangements. Which one is your favourite? Any ideas or tips? #flowersonfriday #bloomscrolling #flowers

There's certainly been lots of uncertainty in the world lately and I know that does not make art a priority, but I'm still here making things. These are a few of my one-of-a-kind raku vessels currently available and if you could help me find them a home with a like or share, I'd be grateful 🙏

The clematis blooms, reminding us being is enough. #bloomscrolling #flowers

I made this raku vase to honor the fact that in ancient times, cats were gods… and they still act like it. 🐾🔥 "Felines of Antiquity" is a nod to all the divine little gremlins of time immemorial. 🥰 #Caturday #art #catsofbluesky #cats

Pulled from fire. Marked by the stars. A skull-shaped relic. A myth from an alternate universe. "Orion's Helm" - It survived re-entry, but needs a place to land. #space #sciart #scifi
