First cake of 2025, Black Forest Cake! As well as trying to learn how to draw, I'm also trying to improve my baking skills. This was my second time actually trying to make a black forest cake, and it turned out much better than my prior attempt (the cream somehow went green last time-)

I was kinda hoping I would at least get to day 7 of my challenge, but after only 5 days, I just haven't drawn anything else. I still want to do days 6 to 30 because I was definitely improving, I just have no motivation to keep going. Does anyone have any tips for staying motivated and consistent?

Day 5 of 30 Really wasn't feeling very motivated today, so it took a lot of effort to draw anything at all. The proportions are still a bit off but this is my best head so far

Day 4 of 30 Practice heads again, and I've definitely improved. the sketch book i have isn't that big, so i started off drawing everything really small, but now that I'm drawing everything nice and big, i can see where i need to improve the most.

Day 2 of 30 I decided to try and draw faces today, but I'm really not happy with any of them. I think i need to use a bigger sketch book because I keep drawing everything very small. I'll be practising heads and faces for the next few days.
