I don't get it. When I was in high school back in the 90's, I was under the impression that racism was fading away, that the racists would eventually die off. I looked at the people my age around me and saw very little racism. Maybe I was naive- I grew up in a town of less than 40,000 people.

Someone said to me on election day, "both sides want you to think that the world will end if the other sides wins. It won't. We'll be ok". I'm trying to be cautiously optimistic that that's true. I could go on and on about the evil in this world, but still, there's plenty of good.
