@iwriteok.bsky.social besides ulrichs there was also Kertbeny, who coined homosexual as a term. He also was pretty amazing, he argued that gayness shouldn't be criminalised even if not innate. as I can not not be german& this is funny: the tum in Bildungsbürgertum is pronounced like tomb, so toom)

Sitting at my Seder tonight eating the bread of affliction and thinking about how there are people starving to death right now in the promised land. I don't know how anyone can read the story of the Exodus and not feel their heart hurt for the suffering of Palestinians. I simply don't understand.
