After a few attempts, I've come to the conclusion that the cheapest option for vibe coding as of today is Trae IDE (free) + DeepSeek V3 (~$1/1m output plus off-peak time discounts) set as a custom model If you use Trae's default ones, you'll be often placed in long queues, so that's not an option
