you know how sometimes you just have a little craving for junk food? so, I started watching Season 8 of Love is Blind and...what in the actual hell?

I think…I know what I want to write next. I’m pre-nervous, so that might mean I should.

thank you🤍

I think I love this real bad.

Great piece by @alexandragg.bsky.social on "Nosferatu", less a review and far more and exploration of an under realized theme that flows through the film... open.substack.com/pub/alex7gra...

this book was mentioned on a tv show and I went to read a plot summary and it sounds like a horror, but it looks like a children’s book— what in the world is James and the Giant Peach????

only if they found my IG.

it’s me. it’s so me, its unreal.

It's easier when you view it as someone pushing you to dispense justice rather than "take it to hell." Can that be delusional? Sure. But none of us are perfect. My fire is fire and brimstone not hellfire This is God's gift ☺️

Wanting to have your cake and eat it too is one thing. Having cake (that you baked) and wanting it to be taste like pie is a whole other (stupid) thing.

my child asked me if I’d still love him if he was a tardigrade and now…NOW I understand how ridiculous these questions are.

I only like talking on the actual phone to a point. And that point is….okay that’s lot of words for Elmo, now pull up.

Oh! @theclevelandguy.bsky.social

and, speaking of what we teach our children, here’s one of my favorites with some fun ideas:

It kind of adds something to discussion around whether spanking children is harmful, doesn't it? *To me* raising my child to question what he hears--even, maybe especially, when he hears it from me--is protection. I want to teach him how to think, not how to submit.

I was reading about a psychological study done on Nazi-era Germans. It tried to find out what kind of person is silent during the rise of authoritarianism. And they determined that the way they parented their children did it. Punishing any challenges to authority, etc. creates submissive citizens.
