Some photos in my gallery from my trip to Llandudno Wales and a trip I took to Blackpool taken in 2020 (and 2021 for the last image)

BREAKING: Mace Head has recorded a new provisional Ireland national record for sustained winds with 135 km/h in the recent hour. Additionally, it managed a gust of 174 km/h. That's the equal highest anywhere in Ireland (with January 2009) since December 1998! #StormÉowyn

Interesting graphic 👀

Some impressive variation in the last two weeks here

Some of my favourite photos from Thursday!

Incredible morning at -5.5°C!! Coldest night since January 19th!

North west England snow showers impacting again! Made a snowman, his name is Craig :)

World’s largest coral found in the Pacific. 🧪 www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

My first post should have blue sky, but it's Comet Tsuchinshan Atlas from October.

General model agreement that temperatures will be falling pretty sharply in the next week over the UK, i suspect that hill snow could become a common occurrence while any widespread low lying snow will be up to the weather gods to discuss much better than last weeks anti-cyclone regardless ‼️

Now's the time to dig out those winter woolies🧣 Whilst November has been mild, dry and dull so far, a change to colder, windier and wetter weather is on the way this weekend 📉

GFS 18z, aka the Pub Run, with Greenland Blocking and a big northerly blast for the start of next week. Tomorrow mornings 00z runs will be interesting to say the least...

Wow, wow, wow!!! Snow event on todays EC 12z for parts of England and Wales on 19th November 😮 Unlikely to verify, but you never know... #SnowWatch

Supercell Saturday! Capital, MT 2020.

The cloud is getting ridiculous now 💀

THE ECM MIDNIGHT MODEL 😭 Way too far out to verify but a hilariously large amount of snow 👁

These are some insane minimum temperatures, I suspect the GFS is on the fritz 😭 Most likely won't happen

‼️NOTHING‼️ to take as gospel but there seems to an unusual amount of consistency for a cold spell at 10 days time and over, I wouldn't start taking these as potential though until they are at the 7 day range or closer though GFS model has been hinting at something for days and ECM has joined too

FIREWORKSSS taken by yours truly, 26th of October ✨️

The final piece of advice I would like to give to new folks tonight is that Bluesky will be what you make of it. When I came over from the former Twitter, I resolved to be more kind to others here than I was over there. That choice has made being here so much better. Keep it in mind for yourself.

The UK is so cloudy right now that if the total sunshine was scaled up to the end of the month, we'd be 83% below our usual November average 💀

14 day UK weather forecast - Settled but perhaps a wintry spell later Issued Thursday 7th November 2024 www.theweatheroutlook.com/forecast/14-...

I have to say, Twitter took a bad turn for the worse, the WAY worse, since the election. Every comment from anyone with a decent heart is being mocked in the grossest way. It's not even fun to make fun of those people, who are probably bots anyway. It's liberating not to bother engaging.

Bluesky is if Twitter was not a PVP enabled zone.

Here's todays ten to fourteen day video update; High And Dry Into November? www.youtube.com/watch?v=kS9l...

#StormAshley almost looks like it’s developed an “eye” as it approaches northwest Scotland. Max gusts so far: 76mph - Belmullet 75mph - Cairn Gorm Summit 69mph - Malin Head Amber warnings in force ⚠️

Pants decided to sit very still and just stare for long enough for a picture. She was feeling extra photogenic today.

Shoutout to my phone’s night vision camera, for making it easy to spot the mostly invisible comet in the sky tonight.
