“Next two weeks” (as in Trump will decide on attacking Iran in the next two weeks) usually means never going to happen.

One of the greatest songs ever written about racist policing/villainous “law & order” regimes, sung by the man who wrote & recorded it 45 years ago, with backing by child street-corner buskers

It was Halloween in NYC circa the millennium. I was dressed as a monkey with fez and cymbals; Leonardo di Caprio was dressed as a newsboy (clearly 'borrowed' from wardrobe). We crossed paths on an empty street. He looked disapproving of my costume and I of his. To this day, we remain enemies.

Whoo hoo! I know some people for whom this will be amazing news.

Boomers need to retire.

We celebrated Pinhole Photography Day by making a camera with Nick D. at the Photo Opp in Appleton, WI. On Sunday, the youngest and I did a photowalk in an industrial part of town. Very cool. The populist takes 120 film. Here are the plans: tinyurl.com/mpdxh8w #BelieveInFilm #Wisconsin #IShootFilm

I've mentioned that we have a very small food production company called uBu Foods. I wrote a little post about our kitchen on the occasion of our sublessee moving in this month. This kitchen was our sanctuary during the early months of the pandemic. I owe a lot of sanity to the place.

I'm IU Class of '97. This makes me very sad this evening.

We have a food company in the US. In '23, I spent a month researching how to export to Canada. We went far down that road before deciding that we should wait. We're just 2 people who do all the work ourselves. This stuff impacts regular people. Can't imagine having a 'T' slapped on our product.
