I can’t remember where I read this, but it’s important: Why is it that when people think about traveling to the past, they worry about doing something small that will drastically change the present, but no one in the present thinks that doing something small today can drastically change the future?

Yes. But they are missing that much of this has to be performative. That’s what Trump is great at and Dems are awful at. You can’t just tell voters , you have to know how to sell voters. Trump gives sales pitches, Dems show charts. One goes viral. The other is ignored and forgotten

I appreciate why those appalled by the attack on Congress January 6, 2021, emphasize the violence against police that day. Trump supporters and fellow-travelers will concede that violence against police is wrong - even if they hedge with many "what abouts?" 1/x

CNN reports that the January 6 criminals have been told they are invited to attend inaugural balls tonight. They are going to be released from the D.C. jail momentarily. All are insurrectionists. We are not a democracy anymore, folks. We do not have rule of law.
