#KourPour at #NazarianCurcio. These works weave together references to Persian miniature painting, Euro-American abstraction, and the artist’s own personal history. The visual density speaks to the myriad ways cultures have influenced each other and the impossibility of cultural purity.

We all know the NEA is a joke but this is extra hilarious. They also cancelled the Challenge America grants, which specifically target underserved communities.
