Both games I'm playing now have serious gap-moe. I Am Future is a cozy game about being the last survivor of a horrible apocalypse. Digimon Survive is a mascot game about watching everybody around you fucking die. They both have the opposite of the expected tone and I love it.

What an amazing collection of creature designs. 20+ years of playing RPGs and I can honestly say I've never seen anything like some of these. Big nozzle handed mech with the pneumatic legs is particularly awesome. I wanna see him waddling along on those lil' thangs so bad.

Arx Fatalis is a bundle of cool ideas held back only by the limitations of it's era. I'd love to see a modern take on it's magic and crafting systems. If the symbol recognition, enemy AI, UI design and quest guidance were just sliiiiiightly better, it'd be a top shelf rpg.

I don't give a rat's how you feel about Pokemon or Palworld. The idea of a company winning a lawsuit based on protected gameplay mechanics is bad for video games. We want MORE iteration in gaming, not less. The idea that a company can "own" a core system is bad for gamers.
