Calling it now - the news is the scariest horror movie of the year!

Another Oscars another year of some truly devastating pronunciations of “Villeneuve.”

Cat shows are just as weird as you think.

Watched Ju-On: The Grudge (2002) a few nights ago and am still deeply creeped out and unsettled.

So very, very excited for this!

I have a few pieces across this New French Extremity volume from Umbrella. Honoured to be part of the talented crew who contributed.

So excited this film is getting a proper release and honoured to be part of it.

I love the movie and loved doing the commentary but it doesn’t get much better than this image in the box set.

This 1991 TV movie is available to watch for free on YouTube and is worth every second of its hour and twenty minute runtime.

My Super Bowl.

[Ron Burgundy voice] it was a delight!

I love an audiobook read by the author and hit play on Rebel Girl: My Life as a Feminist Punk as soon as it became available through the Libby app (thanks Toronto Public Library system!). 🙏🏻

Moon is also frustrated with the news these days.

I can’t believe America fucked up so badly that it got Quebec to embrace Canadian identity.

THE WRONG 78 YEAR OLDS KEEP DYING.

Paying for It was one of my faves at TIFF last year. Highly recommend checking it out this Canadian indie when it comes your way.

It’s our annual year in review episode! Tune in to hear our faves from last year, what we’re looking forward to this year and a battle for Fack supremacy. Oh and bloopers too. pod.link/591499834

If you see this post a fictional artist/band that you would love to see live

Oh wow, Pierre Poilievres are on sale at No Frills this week.

Glad to no longer be the only one with an NFE collection!

What this week has felt like as a Canadian.

Things I do to briefly quiet feelings of despair brought on by the outside world: 1. Listen to Mandika by Sinéad O’Connor 2. Watch Spinal Tap or Drop Dead Gorgeous 3. Watch the YouTube video of Kelsey Grammar falling off a stage youtu.be/Eu-BqOsvj00?...

So much far-right rhetoric and ideology serves not only to divide us but make us turn inwards, suppressing what makes us unique out of fear. They don’t understand kindness, compassion and community. I think our power lies here.

Church has no idea the richest man in the world gave a Nazi salute in public and I love that for her.
