Let the boys fight!

I wish the Democratic Party was alive to see this.

Reminded my husband we had to go vote tomorrow. He (jokingly) asked why. I said, “need to get these last few in before democracy ends”. 😅😅😅😬

well, field of dreams has some problems, then

What I love about me rewatching Scandal with my husband — who is watching it for the first time — is that, with all the ridiculous story lines, the thing he finds most unbelievable about this show is how people just “wander into the Oval Office willy nilly.”

I do not delight in watching those in the FO part of FAFO. But I do delight in the fact that this is what runs through my mind when I see it.

I’m “sits outside with my bird identification app and goes ‘oooooo!’ at the results every 5 seconds” old.

To be fair, I’d probably beg god to take me after meeting JD Vance, too.

These companies are so gross.

Fixed your headline about the tariffs for you, @cnn.com.

I do think it's worth marking and remembering that these people were willing to tolerate everything we've experienced since January and more provided it didn't disrupt the economy.

March of the Tariffs.

Just want to thank @benwikler.bsky.social for relentlessly informing folks about everything going on in WI. A whole lot of Americans in every state are feeling a tiny bit more hope tonight because of all your work!

Get fucked, loser.

IT'S OVER, WE WON, FUCK YOU PHONY STARK

Fuck you, Strom Thurmond.

IF YOU'RE IN LINE TO PISS ON STROM THURMOND'S GRAVE, STAY IN LINE

So many people have no idea how horrible and disgusting Strom Thurmond was and the kind of damages he did to our country. By breaking this record, Cory Booker is briefly wiping the slate clean. What a gift to all of us.

“I’m mindful of what you said about Strom Thurmond just now, as I watch that clock tick for another 20 minutes.” @booker.senate.gov doing it, folks. He’s fucking doing it.

It would be so fucking hilarious if Booker ended this with reading the phone book for the last 5 minutes.

Booker: "I confess that I have been imperfect. I confess that I've been inadequate to the moment. I've confess that the Democratic Party has made terrible mistakes that gave a lane to this demagogue. I confess we all must look in the mirror and say 'we will do better.'"

58 more minutes until we see utter political poetry, if @booker.senate.gov can manage to hold on and beat Strom Thurmond’s record on the floor.

Just kicked off a canvass in Germantown, Wisconsin, in deep-red Washington County. As the volunteers and I spoke, Cory Booker's filibuster was on in the background. His act of courage and resistance is the backdrop in Wisconsin to a day when voters are standing in defiance. An inspiration.

Not to be crass but I’m dying to know about Booker’s, erm, hydration levels.

Thank you, @booker.senate.gov for being a voice for so many. America hears you and America is behind you. And my colleagues on the other side of the aisle would be wise to take note. The rest of the country certainly has. Tens of millions have tuned in to hear Senator Booker.

It’s Election Day, Wisconsin! Have you made a plan to vote? Your vote and your voice matters, so head to myvote.wi.gov to find your polling place, grab your photo ID, and get out to vote! 🗳

Cory Booker going on hour 20 of his filibuster. I realize so many are saying this is performative politics — and they’re right. But politics *is* performative. And my belief is that not all performances are bad. Some are necessary. 1/

"If America hasn't broken your heart, you haven't loved her enough." Corey Booker, just now.

16 hours and counting.

More than 30,000 people are tuned into C-SPAN to watch - and they're hearing a litany of the damage that Trump/Musk are doing here and abroad. That's worth a lot...

yall we can’t collectively screech that “no one’s doing anything!” and then say “no not like that” when someone actually does something. is Booker’s filibuster gonna save the world? of course not. but since courage begets courage it could lead to more. I’m fucking cynical as hell but come on.

My friend Sen. @corybooker.com is literally standing up and speaking out—for our safety, our democracy, and our shared decency. These are not normal times, and we need leaders willing to meet the moment. Keep going, Senator. We’re with you.

I'm seeing ppl say Booker's filibuster won't "do anything" & "doesn't require courage". & fr, idk what people want. He's using the only tool Dems have: gumming up the works. To get useful attn he'll have to speak, standing, for HOURS. idk many ppl w the courage to commit to that kind of thing do u?

13 hours and counting. Thank you, @booker.senate.gov.

Fuck yeah, Cory Booker.
