The Dragon's Egg is a southern hemisphere nebula flying about 3900 light-years away -- right next door. The star in the middle is causing all the ruckus, ionizing hydrogen (red stuff) and oxygen (blue stuff). I processed this using data from a CDK20 scope in Chile. #astrophotography
