A year of waiting, of preparation, of form filling, anxiety & most crucially supporting a (not so) little boy with a lack of sufficient support at school. And the LA decided to concede 3 hours before tribunal - they could have done that 12 months ago but no....this is the issue with the SEND system!

So the government is adopting the language of critical/anti-psychs with their “we are all a bit autistic/ADHD etc” language. This is not simply minimising the impact of neurodevelopmental conditions, it is erasing the importance of diagnosis in order to cut services.
