Bravely Default for Nintendo Switch 2 is the same game as it was over a decade ago on 3DS, aside from two very forgettable minigames. Bar a few better textures, calling it an upgrade would be a stretch But when the original was already one of the best RPGs of the last 15 years, does that matter?

No regrets giving Bravely Default the score I did, I note it’s visually the same game but the art style is strong enough that it more than holds up! This is the opening area and it still left me in awe Go play it if you haven’t!

I thought it when it first broadcast, and the song is INCREDIBLE live But holy shit, Ado's song for Beyblade is so good! It's another collab with Jax Jones and gives her a bit of a dance sound that's unusual in her discography The drop in the chorus is so strong (also this MV makes me wanna watch)

Nintendo Japan dropped a new gacha at their store that mimics the Splatoon 3 in-game one for ability chunks! Even the balls look like the in-game ones, decent metal badges too! It was so popular there was an 80 minute line to do your 2-try limit… yes I did it, 10/10, will queue again another day

I will say, these posters are nice! The colors feel washed out and I hope that's more of a promo material than final film kinda deal, but you can see Okuyama's sense for building a scene and character in just a still image come through in these We'll just have to see about the film itself

It's like, so much of this trailer is 1:1 with the anime, and that's likely deliberate for a teaser But I mean, I see shots like these and they're technically accomplished and neat, but do they make me feel like they justify the leap? Is this what the film should be?
