Just paid for petrol 1 1/2 hours from home - 17p a litre cheaper than my local garage. Such huge regional variations just really get my goat.

Great poetry recital competition at school today. One of the absolute joys of the job is seeing children who previously wouldn’t have put themselves forward standing on the stage and performing. Very proud headteacher 😊
