The reason Republican lawmakers and presidents of the past break all of their promises about immigration and “entitlements” is because they know that these things are actually necessary and healthy. Without them, our people suffer. This guy is just a fool.

There’s a lot of bs on this whole thing, but I’ll pause on the part that affects every child for just a moment. Adding “unifying, inspiring, and ennobling” to the list means it will not be accurate, nor honest. People aren’t perfect, and we need to know about their flaws as well as their merits.

I’ve seen a few folks now advocating for a “shutdown” on March 16th. That’s not going to matter. A single day of inactivity is a drop in the bucket. Especially since the day before and the day after will just end up with greater purchasing, essentially equalizing things.
