Genocide doesn't require murder--it includes acts that cause serious bodily or mental harm to a group. The FBI scaring and mentally harming trans kids and adults during a month of cultural heritage fits this definition. We must choose to remain resilient and resist, with whatever means necessary.

There's a generation of people who knee-jerk associate the phrase "ethics in journalism" with gamergate. We gotta dig out of that. One of the things right wing movements do is co-opt language. Holding journalists to ethical standards is important. Gamergate never cared about that. But we should.
