This is very good. His closing remarks reminded me of the moment last year when the anti-immigration riots here in the UK came to an abrupt end as soon as decent people in London came onto the streets, peacefully, to support their neighbours. There are more of us and they are, ultimately, cowards.

RFK Jr. thinks that a clinical trial should be done for the entire childhood vaccine schedule. Here’s why that will never happen. 1. You can’t do a randomized trial of something that we already know is safe and effective. There would have to be a placebo group that didn’t get vaxxed. Unethical.

Feeling a bit helpless in front of that abomination of a meeting in Saudi Arabia, so I'd like to share that moment way back in 2012 when Trump came to Scotland. It's probably at the root of all his "drill baby drill BS" - he didn't want us to build a windfarm off the coast near his golf course.

Our local council came to cut down some trees at the bottom of our garden yesterday (not on our land) "because of ash dieback". They seem to have cut down all the healthy trees and left the one that definitely has ash dieback which is, apparently, not on their list. 🙄

Back in the 1920s, Paisley built the Russell Institute (donated by Agnes Russell, as a memorial to her brothers, this was pre-NHS), a beautiful art deco building housing a child health clinic. The outside is decorated with little cherubs, suffering from some of the ailments that were treated within.
