After centuries of isolation, a blinded Polyphemus struggles to heal in a world that only remembers him as a monster—until an unexpected friendship teaches him to truly see again. My new story, "The Everlasting Wound of Polyphemus," is #OutNow in @factorfourmagazine.com.

Would the Trump Tariff thing include streamers? Because if you would like to see a genuine, grassroots uprising by the people, with general strikes and mass vandalism and the whole nine yards, then watch what happens when you threaten parents that you're going to take away their access to “Bluey.”

You forgot to mention she resigned in protest in January after you killed her cartoon about your plutocrat owner.

GOOD NEWS! Researchers at the University of New Mexico have developed a tau-targeting vaccine that could help PREVENT the progression of Alzheimer’s disease. In preclinical trials, the vaccine REDUCED pTau, IMPROVED memory AND motor function, and REDUCED brain atrophy with NO major side effects. 🧪🧵⬇️

It’s rain on top of rain on top of rain here. So here’s a mushroom for you. #art #watercolor #mushroom

Amazingly, reaction times using screens while driving are worse than being drunk or high—no wonder 90 percent of drivers hate using touchscreens in cars. Finally the auto industry is coming to its senses. Real buttons are sooooooo back baby!

Pediatricians say that childhood vaccines are safe. A heroin-addled nepo baby with a brain worm says they may not be. For busy voters, it can be hard to know who to believe.

Peas are high in niacin, essential for good bone dev in ducklings (we learned this hard way w/a jumbo Pekin we fed chick starter w/brewers yeast. It was NOT enough niacin for duck that large; she walked with limp her whole life. Slower growing duck did fine, but we became pea pushers after that).

Did you know my nonprofit runs a week of nature-focused summer camp for LGBTQ+ youth in south central PA? At an award-winning Y camp? Want to learn more? Go here: www.gracieshouse.com

“The drug is YOU, and it’s entirely possible to overdose in yourself” is such a phenomenally powerful and dangerously true sentence. That warning applies to AI but also to… maybe social media in general?

My bff raised her boys with simple way to judge whether an action or comment was a good idea. Ask yourself: - Is it kind? - Is it true? - Is it necessary? Frankly if I'd had this repeated to me constantly as a child as a way to evaluate my words and actions, I'd have made better choices.

After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue frisbee - the story ends, you wake up on the sofa and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red frisbee - you stay in the dog park and I show you how deep the squirrel hole goes.

Today’s #doodlewashmay2025 prompt is #squash so I painted these delicata squash. #art #watercolor

new gender neutral greeting just dropped

We saw one of these little guys in the woods today for the first time this year. ☺️ If you see one, please don’t pick them up! Aside from the danger of falling, their skin is highly porous so you can unintentionally make them sick from the oils, salt, bug spray, sunblock, etc. on your hands. 🧵

The Constitution forbids bribery *3 separate times*. So important to the Founders they included two emoluments clauses, and made it the only named impeachable offense besides treason. The Constitution is clear on banning bribery. It's just that Congress and the courts decided to pretend otherwise.

My yearly reminder for Free Comic Book Day: Select comics are free for you, but they are NOT free for the stores; they pay money to have them in stock. So grab your free books, have a good time, but if you can, please purchase a comic book and/or graphic novel while you’re there! Support your LCS!

I’m so happy with how this turned out! Stay tuned for more information on stickers (and maybe prints and shirts?) but for the time being, if you’re looking for posters to flyer, I have the uncompressed .jpeg on my Ko-Fi for free! ko-fi.com/s/09b3450007 #art #digitalart #unicorn #politicalart

“And I’m like, what do you mean, you ‘do your own research’? You running a double-blind study in your living room, dawg?” - A guy walking ahead of me with his friends on a NYC sidewalk in 2021, also my favorite overheard dialogue of the entire pandemic

Two years ago I went on TV and said exactly this: The AI panic cycle was a marketing campaign by known billionaire failures, ultimately an excuse to revenge-fire workers with no immediate replacement. I literally said "The agita around AI is deeply cultural." Me no have TV job shortly thereafter.
