Thank you all for all the well wishes, it means a lot! I'm pretty much fully awake now, not groggy from the anesthesia anymore. My friend is here watching me and helping me out. Everything went well! Surgical painkillers are starting to wear off, but the pain isn't too bad. A low 4, I would say!

Less than a week until surgery! It's on Wednesday. I'll probably be tough to reach that day, as I'll be coming out of the anesthesia for up to 24 hours. I'm so, SO excited to get this hernia fixed up. It'll be a long 6 weeks of recovery, but after that?? WE ARE SO BACK, BABY.
