For #adoorablethursday here is one I passed yesterday, 118 Micklegate, York. The house was built in the 1740s, the doorcase was added in 1763. I love it's wonkiness. #MicklegateYork #pencil #drawing #illustration #ArtYear

The cholera burial ground, Station Road, York. Dating from 1832-33 for the victims of the York cholera epidemic of 1832. It affected at least 450 people and caused 185 deaths in a city population of 25,357. #sketchbook #drawing #illustration #ArtYear
