I don’t think many people realize how bad the job environment is for scientists right now. Thousands of jobs now lost in the government on top of big ongoing layoffs in the biotech/pharma sector. Bad times ahead and I don’t see how it won’t reverberate through the economy

A security guard accused me of stealing chicken on the school lunch line. I am a vegetarian. I was not stealing chicken. I was pulled out of several classes to sit with the assistant principal. No one ever asked me if I was hungry or needed lunch, either.
