I still don't understand some of the terminology and the fear that rain can bring a whole match to a close with no other day to make it up still irks me...but that was a fun listen over the last few days #cricket

You're getting a good snapshot of my favourite genres here

Some of my favourites from growing up that I have/want to read to my daughter...

Post a villain you love

The US has denied the visas of all 12 members of the Senegalese women’s basketball team who were scheduled to travel to the country as part of their preparation for the Afrobasket tournament that begins in August. Afrobasket is also the African qualifiers for the Olympics. #wnba

Thank you to my son and his day care for this terrifying Father’s Day gift.

We now cross over to BBC Radio Derby.

Adam Curtis has a new show out tomo, Shifty, about how power shifted in Britain from 1979 - 2000. It's REALLY good. He's so great at bringing things in that shouldn't fit but do, like Frankie Goes To Hollywood. Ep5 with the Dome and subprime is devastating. Trailer: www.instagram.com/p/DJuTlbKx6P7/

I've been buzzing about this appointment for the last two days. We've tried System Managers to, at best, mixed results so having the anti-thesis of that might work

YOU - “Lamby looks soft.” LITTLE LILY - “Yes. Very soft.” Suddenly she pushes the stuffed animal toward your face. YOU - “I don't deserve it. I'm scum.”

"So Mr Levy, what was it that first attracted you to the financially efficient football manager, Thomas Frank?"

When we throw away a two goal lead

Reminder that we had 9 (NINE!) matches throughout the January transfer window. A threadbare squad (Teenagers + Solanke in Summer) already two months into a savage injury crisis, and it took until February 2nd & 3rd to to sign outfield players (Danso and Tel). That's unforgivable.

Some thoughts on Spurs over the last few days: - Keeping Ange until October would have been the polite thing to do, but... - I had little hope that he'd turn around the abysmal league form, so changing now while he's still the hero is best for business

Spurs have asked the big Q of Thomas Frank, and how he’d handle a wealthier club - in tactics and management It’s almost the wrong way to look at it, for a coach who has overperformed more than anyone in PL, and is almost its moral voice www.independent.co.uk/sport/footba...

I understand the reasoning, I even thought this is the way it would ultimately go, but now it’s happened I’m left a bit, well the only way to describe it is numb. Such a shame that it came to this

It’s obvious why we haven’t heard about Ange yet. Him and Levy are two high agency males engaging in some private phallocentric discourse. Really going at it.

David Cameron "dick in a pig" allegation Tim Sherwood punching a Spurs player in the dressing room after a defeat

today

"I was this pedophile's biggest supporter until he was personally mean to me" seems like a bit of an own goal.

"No offence, son, but you look like you should still be at school, with your head down a fucking toilet."

🤤🤤🤤 youtu.be/-AROCxTNgWc?...

Time to go to work in the shit factory!
