X’Treme Roller A very early prototype of a roller skating game. The PS1 version only came out in Europe, to zero fanfare. (Read More)

NFL Blitz Special Edition The N64 got it's own special edition of NFL Blitz - which means that other consoles got a new game while the N64 got the previous version repackaged. (Read More)

Razor Freestyle Scooter A really poor copy of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. You can play as kids, a sock monkey or a child version of MMA fighter Tito Ortiz. (Read Full Review)

The Powerpuff Girls: Chemical X-Traction Jump on people's heads for 20 minutes and you'll have beaten the game three times and defeated the secret boss. (Read Full Review)

Madden NFL 2002 While other platforms got a new game, the N64 got the previous year's game with some stats changes. (Read More)

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 A really fun game, but the N64 version is not a good way to experience it. It does the job if it's your only option. (Read Full Review)

Derby Stallion 64 A game where you bet on horses. It was originally designed for the 64DD where it would have used the Game Boy link cable to allow multiple people to place bets in secrets. (Read More)

Animal Forest The original version of Animal Crossing, a wonderful social game. The N64 version does feel empty due to the lack of a Museum or designing your own clothes. (Read More)

Dr. Mario 64 A decent puzzle game with very little in the way of features. It's not bad, but feels like something cheap to tide over until the GameCube. (Read Full Review)

Hamster Story 64 Raise and train hamsters to compete in competitions. A Japanese-only game that loots like it has a lot of depth. (Read More)

Power Pros Baseball Basic Edition 2001 This one is just a roster updates as other platforms got the proper new entry. There's no RPG story mode in this one. At least the name is honest. (Read Full Review)

Aidyn Chronicles: The First Mage Some interesting characters and lore, and a system that shows promise. But navigating the world is frustrating and I couldn't defeat a bunch of wolves outside the gates of the first village. (Read Full Review)

Conker’s Bad Fur Day Imaginative, rude and fun. Some of the different parts could be a bit smoother, but the variety certainly helps out. (Read Full Review)

Animal Leader A nearly-finished prototype of a game that ended up moving to GameCube and getting renamed to Cubivore. (Read More)

Polaris SnoCross It plays exactly like a motocross game, but features snowmobiles instead. You can unlock a giant lobster to race on. (Read Full Review)

Star Wars Episode I: Battle for Naboo A sequel to Rogue Squadron that adds more variety into the mix. Amazing game. (Read Full Review)

Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine A mix of Tomb Raider and a point and click adventure. It has a lot of style, but clunky controls and interactions with objects let it down. So close to being great. (Read Full Review)

Pokémon Stadium 2 A great companion piece for Pokémon Gold and Silver, along with some fun minigames. It has the same rental Pokémon issue as the previous game. (Read Full Review)

Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker Easily the worst superhero game on the N64. Only two enemies on screen at once, less than 30 minutes long and laughable animation. (Read Full Review: N-Europe)

WCW Backstage Assault Takes an idea that could work well and squanders it will terrible controls and camera angles. (Read Full Review: N-Europe)

F1 Racing Championship It's Monaco Grand Prix with some stats changes and licensed names. The most interesting thing about the game is that the Brasil release was the only NTSC version, just being an NA cartridge. (Read Full Review: N-Europe)

Donald Duck: Goin’ Quackers A Crash Bandicoot clone, but still a fun one. Even the FMVs have been recreated using in-game cutscenes instead of using stills. (Read Full Review: N-Europe)

Mario Party 3 An improvement on the previous games, with a ton of fun minigames, more items and more board interaction. (Read More - N-Europe)

Dinosaur Planet The original idea for the game before the leap to GameCube and becoming a Star Fox game. Kystal is a main character and it features much deeper lore. (Read Full Review: N-Europe)

Scooby-Doo! Classic Creep Capers A point and click mixed with the movement and camera of Resident Evil. It has some charm to it, but also doesn't let the player solve the mysteries themselves. n-europe.com/features/all...

Dance Dance Revolution Disney Dancing Museum Only released in Japan, this is a version of DDR for the N64 with lots of Mickey mouse music, and an extra mode where you use a controller combined with a dance mat. n-europe.com/features/all...

Mega Man 64 A port of Mega Man Legends, a wonderful action-RPG with a giant interconnected Metroid-like dungeon that you have to enter from different points of the overworld. Great game. n-europe.com/features/all...

Spider-Man A decent game, but the N64 version is clearly the worst version of it, lacking in presentation plus missing the What If? variant of the campaign. n-europe.com/features/all...

Sin & Punishment An incredibly fun on-rails shooter. It was originally Japanese only (despite the dialogue being entirely in English) but got an official western release on the Wii. n-europe.com/features/all...

Banjo-Tooie While it can feel a bit sparce in places, or have a bit too much backtracking, Banjo-Tooie is still a phenomenal experience with a ton of stuff to love about it. n-europe.com/features/all...

WWF No Mercy Building upon games for a whole generation, this wrestling game was the culmination of a ton of work and passion, and it shows in the final game. n-europe.com/features/all...

Midway’s Greatest Arcade Hits: Volume 1 A collection containing Defender, Robotron 2048, Root Beer Tapper, Joust, Spy Hunter and Sinistar. A few of the games are far too tiny on the N64. n-europe.com/features/all...

Ready 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2 It's the first game but with four special characters: Shaquille O’Neal, Michael Jackson, Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton. n-europe.com/features/all...

Mickey’s Speedway USA A Rare-made Kart racer that takes inspiration form Mario Kart but is lacking in its own personality. The only N64 game from Rare that hasn't been re-released in any form. n-europe.com/features/all...

Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness Takes the gameplay of the original Pac-Man and turns it into a puzzle-platformer. Some interesting ideas. n-europe.com/features/all...

Custom Robo V2 A great follow up to a brilliant game. Letting you change the main robot part opens up a lot more options and the combat is even better due to it. It also has two campaigns. n-europe.com/features/all...

Mia Hamm Soccer 64 The first video game featuring women's football, which is just a very quick (the developers were given 12 weeks) reskin of Michal Owen's WLS. n-europe.com/features/all...

Tom and Jerry in Fists of Furry An arena fighter with awful gameplay, very few characters and even fewer levels. n-europe.com/features/all...

Rugrats in Paris: The Movie Roam around a theme park and complete minigames. Strangely, the multiplayer does not have any simultaneous play, everyone has to take turns. n-europe.com/features/all...

Tigger’s Honey Hunt A 2D platformer with surprisingly little bouncing in it. First Tigger jumps, then he flaps his arms to fly for a short time. It also devoid of the charm that the Winnie the Pooh is known for. n-europe.com/features/all...

The World Is Not Enough Eurocom attempt to capture the essence of GoldenEye, and mostly succeed to it. A great first person shooter with some fun gadgets, and captures the style of the film really well. n-europe.com/features/all...

Cruis’n Exotica The best Cruis'n in terms of handling. The levels have some spectacle to them, but they're also really short. n-europe.com/features/all...

Blues Brothers 2000 A 3D platformer based on a two year old musical comedy film on a console that can't utilise the songs properly. A really strange choice for an N64 game. The platforming is competent but the level design is poor. n-europe.com/features/all...

Stunt Racer 64 Despite a really difficult qualifying round for the singleplayer game, Stunt Racer 64 is still a really enjoyable racing game that was only available at Blockbuster. n-europe.com/features/all...

Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue Truly terrible. Hideous graphics where NPCs are placed within the floors, awful gameplay and just all round awful in such a boring way. n-europe.com/features/all...

Army Men: Sarge’s Heroes 2 A decent third person shooter that shines in its last few levels: a train set, pool table, and Battletanx pinball machine n-europe.com/features/all...

Shiren the Wanderer 2: Shiren’s Castle and the Oni Invasion A Mystery Dungeon game where you have to collect resources to build a castle, with a very charming story. After the credits roll, there's a second game where you capture, collect and battle monsters. n-europe.com/features/all...

Pokémon Puzzle League A wonderful version of Panel de Pon/Tetris attack. It's theming is based on the Pokémon show with a ton of different ways to play. A wonderful puzzler, especially the 3D mode. n-europe.com/features/all...

Frogger 2 An early N64 prototype that was cancelled, although the game was completed for PlayStation. n-europe.com/features/all...
