The Adoration of the Magi, Pieter Aertsen, c. 1560 (Rijksmuseum) I like especially Mary's copious supply of nappies/ swaddling bands - not a detail you often see in sacred art! 6 Jan, Epiphany.

The Twelfth Day of Christmas is the Feast of the Epiphany, which principally commemorates the visit of the Magi to the Christ Child. We purchased and rehomed this Victorian depiction of the Epiphany over a decade ago using funds from the Cottam Will Trust. 1/4
