There appear to be at least three separately operating heel factions breaking things within the government in wholly different ways right now. There's the Miller-headed immigration one, the DOGE/Elon one, and a Project 2025 OMB one. This dynamic hasn't showed up in mainstream reporting at all.

Instead of introducing pointless "every sperm is sacred legislation," introduce a bill—a Pro-Birth Accountability Act—like Sen. Mia McLeod introduced in S. Carolina in 2019. I call it a "F**k You, Pay Me" bill. If states are going to force people to give birth, then states should pay for it.

I keep thinking about those congresspeople kneeling in the rotunda wearing kente cloth scarves, very performative. There has been no loud, visible, unified support for Sarah McBride from the democrats. It’s a real disgrace. That is your colleague! They are bullying her in your faces. And silence!
