went to go feed the stray cats today, and a cyclist was stopped where i put the food for them. i called to the cats with PssPss noises and they emerged from the bushes for lunch. he said “People in Sacramento are fucking weird.” me feeding stray cats is less weird than your unsolicited feedback 👍

the USA/Israel technique for ethnic cleansing: 1. Israel cuts off water / electricity to a territory 2. Israel drops USA-made bombs on the territory for months 3. USA claims that people of territory must leave because everything is demolished with no water or electricity absolutely horrific.

when i went to go feed the feral cats today, one of them was holding a mouse in its mouth. i was able to get the cat to drop the mouse and follow me to eat some canned food. the mouse had a limp but hopefully it recovers 🙏 (i feed the cats food made with fish mostly, pescatarian style)

always a treat when i can spot a deer in the American River Parkway. a few weeks ago i saw a group of them, i wonder if this one lost its friends. it’s a bit sad to see a beautiful animal trapped within the human landscape, but that is the reality for animals on this earth.

it has been raining a lot here in Sacramento, and the feral cats that i feed every day have been soaked. i’m arranging to get some shelters for them, as the forest they call home does not seem have any rain-proof areas like i was hoping for. i’m thinking of them constantly 😢 those little kitties

went to Ho'okipa Beach Park and saw about 30 sea turtles “honu” relaxing in the sun! there was a spot for people to look down at them without disturbing them. super adorable sleepyheads

yes the weather is nice in the summer, but i’m looking forward to the fall/winter season so i can watch NFL and NBA games, and keep up with league drama etc it is scientifically proven that snacks are more delicious while watching sporting events on television (citation needed)
