I have an idea. Let's keep the penny but change the design. Put Frump's scowling face on it, and change "In God we trust" to "Never trust a politician." The back would have a dog pooping in front of Trump Tower with the text "E pluribus feces." Lincoln will still be on the $5 bill anyway.

So... Frump wants to eliminate pennies. A penny may be too small to matter to him or his partner in crime Musk, but to millions of kids who save them up to buy things they still matter. Is he going to just declare the millions of pennies in circulation to be worthless?

The COMET: Comet Atlas currently visible from northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. Sky is clear. Sun is brilliant. Do NOT stare at the sun, even with sunglasses, though those will help a bit.

Another day, another grind. For the last three workdays (Sunday excepted) a crew has been destroying venerable oaks, elms, and maples on the 5 acres immediately east of ours. To what long term intent I know not, but the noise and air pollution (dust and diesel) are awful.
